A decade of thrilling Disney attractions announced for Disneyland and Disney World
Disneyland and Disney World are gearing up for an exciting expansion that promises to delight young fans and the young at heart.
At the recent D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, Disney Experiences Chairman Josh D’Amaro unveiled plans for 14 new attractions and themed lands set to debut over the next decade. This ambitious initiative aims to enhance Disney’s legacy of storytelling, captivating both new and longtime fans.
The magic continues at Magic Kingdom
The Magic Kingdom in Orlando, Florida, will feature attractions inspired by beloved franchises. Notably, the Cars franchise will debut with two new attractions alongside a new area dedicated to Disney Villains, bringing a darker twist to the park’s offerings.
In 2027, the Tropical Americas will open at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, introducing visitors to a ride-through attraction based on the hit film Encanto and adventures inspired by Indiana Jones.
Marvel expansion at Disneyland Resort
The Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California, will also see significant growth. The Avengers Campus will double in size, adding more attractions to the already popular Marvel franchise. Additionally, fans of Avatar can look forward to a new experience that dives deeper into Na’vi’s world, inspired by the sequel, Avatar: The Way of Water.
