Aside from catering to visitors, local businesses in Jericho can also sign up for free to add a location and promote their corner of the neighborhood.
Built between 1825 and the early 1880s, Jericho boasts a layered history, intertwining working-class roots with long-standing cultural venues and emerging creative spaces. According to an article published by the BBC, the neighborhood is emerging as Oxford’s cultural quarter, housing artists’ studios, galleries, and the upcoming University of Oxford Schwarzman Centre for the Humanities, set to open in 2025.
